About this stay
The Chapman House B & B was built in the Federal style in 1800 for the Rev. Jedediah Chapman, Geneva's first resident minister. Located in the center of the South Main Street Historic District, it is minutes walk to our celebrated downtown restaurant district and Lakefront Park. We are at the beginning of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and the closest accommodation to Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

This was a beautiful location, Beautiful house, and Stephen and Julie were so kind and accommodating. We arrived early and Stephen let us sit on the beautiful front porch and get into our room early.

AmandaStayed August 2025 · Chapman HouseMy wife and I had an excellent stay with Steve and Julie. The B&B is beautiful, and the pictures online are very accurate. We met both Steve and Julie, and both were very pleasant.
Steve and Julie’s bed and breakfast is delightful. The home is a step back in time but with modern amenities. The side porch is the perfect place to have breakfast or sip some wine in the evening.
